Interposer Information
An Interposer Card is required for all J-Testr based systems and is located on the top of the J-Testr system. The Interposer card is used to route measurement/stimulation signals from the peripheral cards to the UUT but can also be used to mount custom electronics, and/or J-Testr Modules, to add testing functions.
The interposer is normally designed by the user but all mechanical mounting data, peripheral keying information and connector pin‐outs are provided to make the design process simple. If required, a service can be provided to double-check the mechanical mounting positions before the customer commits to the PCB manufacture.
In J-Testr+ GTI Test Systems a Generic Test Interposer is provided thus removing the PCB design requirement from the end user. With J-Testr Custom Test Systems, the Interposer is designed and provided.by Eiger Design to meet the customer requirements.
