Fixture Integration

The J-Testr main enclosure has been designed to be low profile to enable it to be easily integrated inside 'bed of nails' test fixtures.

The compact size of the J-Testr plus the top mounted interposer connection PCB  allows the 'bed of nails' test fixture to have compact dimensions whilst making connection to the UUT test pins extremely easy.

A special mounting plate can be provided, with the J-Testr, to make fixing it inside a fixture base-box very simple using only 6 M4 bolts

No other electronic cards are required to complete the integration as the J-Testr incorporates all the power, cooling and stimuli required to complete a fully functional test system. The user only needs to connect the UUT 'pogo' pins to the J-Testr interposer to complete the solution.

The J-Testr is able to fit into multiple different vendor's test fixtures, including Equip-Test, ECT Xcerra (Everett Charles Technologies), INGUN and ATX. Eiger Design can provide advice and example integration drawings and 3D STEP models to simplify the whole integration process.​

J-Testr+ Systems


Although the J-Testr systems can be mounted inside any vendor's ‘Bed of Nails’ fixture,  J-Testr+ systems provide an existing off the self-solution saving the customer the required integration work and time working with fixture vendors.

A J-Testr+ system is a standard J-Testr plus a 'Bed of Nails' fixture. Currently the J-Testr+ is available in two sizes as below:

J-Testr+ Mini     -              PCB size up to 165mm x 110mm
J-Testr+ Midi*   -              PCB size up to 285mm x 240mm

*J-Testr+ Midi is available in a special RF version.
 
The J-Testr+ can be purchased with or without customisation. A customisation service is available such that the full J-Testr+ system is shipped to the exact requirements of a customer’s UUT. Customisation can also include cabling if required.

All J-Testr+ systems support Eiger Design's “EZ-Wired” connection concept that allows quick, simple, low cost and reliable connections between the J-Testr and the UUT. For more information on the “EZ-Wired” connection concept, click here.
